Gentlemen, when planning the layout of the workshop (which has four floors, with reaction vessels on the second, third, and fourth floors, and a floor height of around 5.5 meters), should we take into account the need for maintenance and replacement of those reaction vessels (8000L and 12000L) in the future? It depends on the process conditions. If frequent maintenance and replacement are required, a reactor of this size could be considered for handling using a crane in the workshop. If the amount of maintenance is low, it is sufficient to provide lifting holes; of course, the equipment on adjacent floors should be arranged at staggered positions.
Routine cleaning and maintenance can be carried out in place. If the enamel-lined reactor needs to be replaced, for example due to issues such as enamel peeling, it must be taken out of the workshop to be replaced with a new one. The workshop is built of reinforced concrete. When replacing the reaction vessel, it is first lifted to the lower floor and placed horizontally on a trolley; at this point, lifting holes should be created on each floor to allow the reaction vessel to be lowered floor by floor until it reaches the first floor where it can be pushed out ; Or should a removable door and window be installed on the exterior wall of each floor, so that the reactor can be pushed in front of the window and lifted out using a crane? The two layers of equipment need to be arranged offset from each other, which saves on floor height and also allows the equipment on the upper layer to be lowered.
