An approach to the development of the forum

The long-awaited series of poetry books from this forum has been officially released. It consists of six volumes: Bing Han’s \"Ice and Dream Poems\", Zhai Guangzheng’s \"Collection of Poems\", the owner of Xiyan Garden’s \"Brief Poems from Xiyan Garden\", Qing Xiao’s \"Poetry Collection of Qing Xiao\", Qing Songzi’s \"I Don’t Know Her Name\", and Liu Yanwen’s \"Miscellaneous Poems on Life\". This series is in large 32-format, with 128 pages per book; it features a uniform design for both the covers and the interior layout. It was edited by Na Jixuan Zhu and Sai Shang Bai Xizi, with many netizens contributing their comments. Rich in both text and illustrations, it embodies the efforts of many people. The series was originally planned to consist of ten volumes, but for various reasons, only six volumes were released in the first instance. We apologize to those poets who did not get the chance to have their works published; please forgive us! Due to difficulties in communication, a lack of experience, and soaring prices for intermediate paper, there were repeated delays; it took a year from the initial plan to publish to its official release today. Although I feel ashamed, it has finally been released; as for how it turns out, I await the comments from fellow poets. According to the plan, 100 additional copies are printed for each series; the publisher keeps 14 copies of each type for review and as archives. Apart from being given to the poets who participated in the editing, around 65 sets are made available to poets publicly through the forum, with the proceeds used to cover the costs of maintaining the website servers. Each book is priced at 20 yuan. The set of six books is available at a discounted price of 100 yuan for poetry lovers, with free shipping. China Review Publishing House is an institution under the China Review Group; it includes entities such as China Review News Agency, China Review Magazine, and China Review Publishing House, and boasts a strong background. The original agreement for this series called for the use of a series number, but that plan was not approved in the end; each book now has its own number, which increases costs. Thanks to a special relationship, the series was able to be published successfully. If purchasing separately, please contact the author directly.   After reading this post, maybe our forum should also consider adopting this approach to address some of the financial issues of the forum site! I remember someone once saying: Publish burning software and sell it to everyone! The idea is roughly the same, but there are copyright issues. Avoiding copyright issues certainly presents certain difficulties; their work is original, whereas our materials are not! But we can organize some of the forum discussions and create informal publications similar to those used for submissions, with content review that isn’t as strict!   (An immature idea; I’ll say whatever comes to mind!) ）
