In the newly installed shell gasification unit of our company, the oxygen flow valve and the asphalt flow are under serial control, with the oxygen flow being measured using a Venturi meter. Automatic feeding by driving the system means that before feeding begins, the asphalt flow rate is set first; once the connection is established, the oxygen valve opens automatically and gradually increases to the desired flow rate. According to the documentation, since the pressure difference before and after the oxygen pipeline can reach 7 MP when the oxygen valve is opened, an amplifier is incorporated into the oxygen control valve during material feeding. As the oxygen valve opens, the function of this amplifier gradually diminishes; once all the oxygen has entered the furnace and the pressure returns to normal, the amplifier is deactivated and is no longer in use. If so, its function is to control the opening time of the oxygen valve by adjusting a throttle valve while the vehicle is in operation, thereby preventing excessive oxygen levels that could pose a danger. Once the interlock triggers a shutdown, the oxygen valve is required to close quickly. It is set up for this purpose (the function of the amplifier is to increase the volume of air intake and exhaust by the actuator, so as to enable rapid valve operation; if a slower operation is desired, this can be achieved by adding a throttle valve.
