What is the flow rate of the electric fog gas at your factory? Are there any reinforced cathode plumb bob holders used here? How effective!
The response is as follows: 1. The electric fog flow rate is recommended to be around 0.5 m/s, and it is better to use a two-stage setup. 2. The conductive fiberglass electro-mist system for sulfuric acid III in our plant uses a fixed lower frame, which yields good results. The main issue is that the frame is made of plastic; initially, plastic suspension rods were used, which did not have sufficient strength and posed a safety risk. Now, high-strength fiberglass suspension rods have been installed as a solution to this problem.
The gas flow rate in our factory’s electrostatic fogger is controlled at 0.6–0.8 meters per second! Using a reinforced cathode plumb bob fixing frame yields good results! (Grade 1 electric fog)
Our factory uses fiberglass electrostatic mist eliminators to remove acid mist from exhaust gases generated during waste acid concentration; the designed flow rate is 0.8 m/s, with an efficiency of around 99%, which gives good results.
