Safety inspection points for gas cylinder storage units General gases 1. They should be stored in a dedicated warehouse. The gas cylinder warehouse should comply with the relevant provisions of the "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings". There must be no ditches or secret passages in the warehouse, and open flames and other heat sources are strictly prohibited.; The warehouse should be ventilated, dry and protected from direct sunlight. 2. Cylinders containing gases that are prone to polymerization reactions must have a specified storage period and should be kept away from radioactive ray sources. 3. Empty bottles and full bottles should be placed separately and clearly marked. Toxic gas bottles and gas bottles that come into contact with each other can cause combustion and explosion, and gas bottles that produce poisons should be stored in separate rooms, and gas protection equipment or fire-extinguishing equipment should be installed nearby. 4. Gas bottles should be placed neatly, keep a safe distance from the wall, and wear bottle caps. 5. Combustible gas should be stored in separate rooms from combustion-supporting gas. ; There should be no flammable items, oil stains and other debris around the oxygen cylinder. 6. No offices or rest rooms are allowed in the warehouse. 7. Obvious warning signs such as "No Fireworks in Warehouse Areas" and "No Smoking" should be set up in the warehouse area. 8. The lighting fixtures and wiring in the room should be explosion-proof. 9. Operators should be equipped with complete gloves, anti-smash shoes and other labor protection supplies. Acetylene cylinder: Check content: 1. At sites where acetylene bottles are used, the storage capacity of acetylene gas shall not exceed 30 cubic meters (equivalent to 5 bottles, referring to acetylene bottles with a nominal volume of 40L, the same below). 2. When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 30 cubic meters, a separate storage room should be isolated from non-combustible gases or refractory objects, one of which should be a fixed wall. ; When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 240 cubic meters (equivalent to 40 bottles), a storage warehouse with a fire resistance rating of not less than Level 2 should be built. The fire separation distance from the building should not be less than 10M, otherwise it should be separated by a fire wall. 3. It is strictly forbidden for any pipeline to pass through the storage warehouse or storage room of acetylene bottles. 4. The storage warehouse or storage room of acetylene bottles should be managed by dedicated personnel, and signs such as "Acetylene Danger" and "No Fireworks Strictly Prohibited" should be set up. 5. Empty bottles and full bottles should be separated, placed neatly, and clearly marked. 6. It is strictly prohibited to store it in the same room with oxygen bottles, chlorine bottles and flammable items. 7. When storing acetylene bottles, they should be kept in an upright position and measures should be taken to prevent tipping. 8. Acetylene bottles must not be stored in basements or semi-basements.
