Currently, there are quite a number of chemical projects of various sizes in the country, so those of us who work in chemical engineering design have plenty of work to do. I’ve heard that the number of chemical projects to be built in the country is expected to decrease in the coming years; will we also face many problems in the future, such as a shortage of positions in chemical engineering design, which would make it difficult to change jobs?； Declining revenue, and so on.
The modern world is inseparable from the chemical industry; clothing, food, housing, transportation – how many of these things are not chemical products? One must be firm in one’s industry and in one’s beliefs.
There will always be progress; there is still a large gap between domestic chemical industry and those abroad
But there are a few design firms capable of keeping up with foreign design companies! Mostly, they purchase foreign technologies; they only focus on design and make money through procurement!

I once read an analytical article stating that by 2012, China’s large-scale chemical engineering projects would reach saturation, and many design firms would face a situation where they had no work to do; some of them would only be able to handle small projects. It is likely that many small, lesser-known third-rate design firms would be at risk of going bankrupt. I think the analysis in that article made a lot of sense. For those currently working in the field of design, if their firm isn’t very good or if they can’t achieve significant progress within a few years, it might be wise to start looking for a new job now, perhaps in a manufacturing company. In that way, when others are busy looking for jobs and trying to change their environment in 3 or 4 years, you will already be able to adapt well to your new workplace. People who change their circumstances can thrive, while those who stay put may fail. I hope my advice is helpful to everyone; it’s just my personal opinion, for reference only

I just graduated this year and started working in design; I really need to succeed in this field, as it’s so difficult to find a job these days :(
