There’s no need to import them all; I have worked on similar projects, and valves such as the check valve on the compressor outlet and pressure-reducing angle valves are all provided by the compressor manufacturer as part of the standard equipment
In high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, it should be imported. Reference manufacturers: Tyco, Edwards, Wilan.
The high-pressure process valves used in high-pressure hydrogenation processes are mainly imported products such as those from Wilo and Edwards. It cannot be said that domestic products cannot be used; there are indeed domestic products available for the same pressure levels, but what is lacking is long-term performance data related to their use in hydrogenation units. This situation may change though
This question is easy to answer. In hydrogenation operations, if there are valves downstream of the catalyst, in cases involving heavy waxes, we cannot find any relevant warning signs in the data sheets provided by design firms. However, in practice, due to excessive cavitation and blockages, it is better for such valves to be located at the inlet; otherwise, you will face serious consequences if using them frequently. It seems that only 3 companies in the world have experience in supplying such valves: VALTEK and FISHER from Messer Milán are recommended
At present, these high-pressure valves have been manufactured domestically; for example, those produced by CNNC Su Valve are being used in the Changling residue hydrogenation unit, and the performance so far is quite good. . .
1. For the check valve at the compressor outlet, it is recommended to use Holbig’s valve-type check valve, as it is very reliable. Domestic screw-up type models are prone to problems. 2. For pressure-reducing angle valves, it is recommended to use brands such as Messer, Fisher, Japanese industrial tools, and Fox. Domestic products are available, but their performance is not good; since no one has used them before, no one opts for them – after all, no one wants to be the first to try something new. 3.
