Participate in various trial runs prior to material feeding, and go through the practical operation training phase. Participating in tasks such as pipeline verification, purging, airtightness testing, the installation and commissioning of electrical instruments, and trial operation constitutes an important phase of the training process. On top of external training, production operators learn through on-site practice, becoming familiar with the layout of pipelines for various media and the locations of valves, as well as with the arrangement of instruments in the control room, the control methods, control circuits, and interlock systems.
We usually get involved once the civil work is completed, and we take part in the inspection and installation of the equipment upon its arrival. Some of the software for the equipment needs to be retained; if intervention is carried out after completion, it will cause a lot of problems.
The main tasks are to check which blind flanges are in use, whether the valves are opened and closed correctly, as well as to carry out purging and pressure testing. Safety must be prioritized during this period, and the training for the operators should already be complete
