I have been using the Haichuan Forum for some time now, and I find it quite attractive. Firstly, it offers a wealth of technical resources; secondly, it provides a platform to discuss problems encountered in practice, which helps in finding solutions. But I think there is a problem: more emphasis is placed on the posts that initiate topics, and more points are given for them; sometimes even a single sentence earns quite a few points. On the other hand, less attention is paid to the replies to those posts. In fact, some of those replies contain in-depth analysis, are much more detailed than the original posts, and are indeed helpful in solving the problems. Yet some replies get points while others don’t, and some are not even considered at all. It is recommended to improve the scoring process in this area and set requirements for section moderators. In-depth response posts serve as an important means for forums to address the practical problems encountered in chemical production; they are a crucial element alongside forum materials and topic initiations, and should not be overlooked. Otherwise, a forum that becomes primarily a place for sharing materials will hinder its healthy development. I hope the moderator can consider a solution to this issue.
