Our terminal uses the HighAccuracy DS600S Coriolis flow meter, but it has never been accurate. The traffic volume fluctuates greatly, being quite different from the actual value. Manual measurement is the only option, which increases labor and time costs. I don’t know how to improve accuracy
The accuracy of a flow meter depends not only on the meter itself but also on its installation conditions. It is necessary to check whether the site meets the requirements specified in the product manual. For example, whether the straight sections before and after are sufficient, whether the liquid contains gas or the gas contains liquid, and whether the operating flow rate is within the middle range of the scale.
Adding a note for those upstairs: pay attention to the installation environment, especially vibration levels
There cannot be a two-phase flow. :victory:
Mass flow meters all operate on the principle of the Coriolis force. Currently, the density and mass of the fluid are calculated based on the inherent resonant frequency of the object. Therefore, to achieve accurate measurements, it is necessary to secure the installation of the mass flow meter to prevent it from vibrating. Sometimes, using hoses at both ends can help avoid interference from the piping. Additionally, concrete pilings can be installed not far from the flanges on either side (at a distance equal to one time the length of the flow meter), along with embedded clamps, to hold the piping in place; this is also an effective way to reduce the effects of resonance.
