Which organization is currently responsible for designing the pressure vessels in our country that have the greatest weight and thickest walls? Made by that company? Used in that unit?

The containers used for pressure vapor polymerization are extremely thick. The pressure is generally above 140 MPa. A 200mm-thick steel pipe, with an inner diameter of only a few dozen millimeters – it’s possible to see obvious expansion and contraction of the pipe; haha, it’s really exciting! ! ! ! ! ! ! That’s scary! ! ! !

The two Shenhua Group direct coal liquefaction reactors, jointly designed by Sinopec Engineering Construction Company and the Design Institute of China National First Heavy Machinery Corporation, and manufactured by China National First Heavy Machinery Corporation, were completed one after another in the second half of 2006 and successfully lifted into place, standing at the Majiata site of Shenhua Group’s coal-to-oil company in Inner Mongolia. These two units are the longest and heaviest hydrogenation reactors in the world today; their completion marks another advancement in China’s capabilities in the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels. Specifications: Inner diameter 4800 mm, wall thickness 334 mm, length 62500 mm. Design parameters: Design pressure 20.36 MPa, design temperature 482 degrees. Weight: 2004 tons. Material: Forged 2.25Cr-1Mo-0.25V; weight of each section is 200 tons

Nuclear submarines generally weigh over 3,000 tons, with a steel yield strength of at least 980 MPa; their diving depth is usually around 2,000 meters, and they can dive to depths of over 10,000 meters as well. Do LNG transport ships count as well? They are designed as part of the shipbuilding process, and their weight is also in the tens of thousands of tons... The hydrogenation reactor of Hitachi is also quite large.
The Zilu hydrocracking reactor, without its internal components, weighs 930 tons, which may be the highest weight in the petrochemical industry. The diameter and thickness of the device are unknown.
