No need to enter. Because CL should be in trace amounts, it will not affect the vapor-liquid flow within the tower. If you need to know the CL concentration for corrosion issues, you can enter HCL. However, when conducting simulations, you must be careful with the thermodynamic choices for the system; moreover, the method used for simulating the tower may also need to be changed, depending on the software you are using.
I am extremely grateful for the generous help from the person above. I initially used ASPEN, but it was not possible to achieve convergence, so I had to switch to PROII. If HCL is present, then it will definitely be included in the gas phase at the top of the tower.
