Cylinder sections that require glass lining. The original design specified Q235A material, and the flange material is also Q235A. Can Q345D material be used as a substitute for the flange material? Is there a close relationship between the material used for the glass-lined tube sections and whether those sections are lined with glass? Please give me some advice! Thank you
The mechanical property values are as follows (%): Grade, Wall thickness (mm), Elongation δ5≥ (%), Yield strength δs (MPa≥), Testing temperature (°C), Tensile strength σb (MPa≥): Q345A: ≤16, 21, 345; no specified temperature range (470–630); Q345B: ≤16, 21, 345, 20; temperature range 470–630; Q345C: 16–35, 22, ≥325; no specified temperature range (470–630); Q345D: 35–50, 22, ≥295; temperature range –40 to 470–630; Q345D: 50–100, 22, ≥275; temperature range –40 to 470–630. The chemical composition is as follows: Material grade, C, Si, Mn, P, S, V, Nb, Al, Ni: Q345A: ≤0.20, ≤0.55, 1.00–1.60, ≤0.045, ≤0.045, 0.02–0.15, 0.015–0.060, 0.02–0.20, 0; Q345B: ≤0.20, ≤0.55, 1.00–1.60, ≤0.040, ≤0.040, 0.02–0.15, 0.015–0.060, 0.02–0.20, 0; Q345C: ≤0.20, ≤0.55, 1.00–1.60, ≤0.035, ≤0.035, 0.02–0.15, 0.015–0.060, 0.015, 0.02–0.20; Q345D: ≤0.18, ≤0.55, 1.00–1.60, ≤0.030, ≤0.030, 0.02–0.15, 0.015–0.060, ≥0.015, 0.02–0.20. I’m glad to receive your reply. What are the differences in the glass lining adhesion properties between Q235A and Q345D materials? :)
I asked a friend at the enamel kettle factory for you, and he said it can be used as a substitute with no difference.
