The wall thickness depends on the specific design parameters. The manufacturer's tablet pressing is indeed related to the thickness, but it is also related to the designed segment size. Larger segments require larger thicknesses, otherwise it will be very difficult to control punching deformation!
From the perspective of production, transportation and installation, the 400m spherical tank should not be smaller than 16mm.
