How is the process package for aromatic projects typically divided? Which of these processes already have mature technologies available in China, so that there is no need to purchase foreign patents? I hope experts can give me some guidance! Thank you so much! :)

I haven’t been in this industry for very long, so I’ll try to answer your questions as best I can. Please forgive me if my answers aren’t comprehensive enough. By \"process package design,\" you probably mean the basic process design package. For detailed design packages, domestic design institutes can generally prepare them based on the basic design package. As far as I know, the process packages for large aromatic plants in China are not yet very mature, and the scale of existing plants is also not large. The basic design package is usually signed together with the patent license. For the more core units, a catalyst supply agreement usually still needs to be added. A process package generally consists of several main parts: 1. The foundations of process design, including the basic capabilities of the plant, flow diagrams, PFDs, material balances, as well as data on products and feedstocks. 2. Detailed information on the equipment, including a detailed equipment list, as well as specific data on pressure vessels, reaction tanks, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, etc. 3. Instrument control, including interlocks, detailed process instruments, detailed PSVs, etc. 4. Various charts, including PFD, PID, and equipment diagrams. 5. An aromatic compound complex generally includes: reforming, extraction, isomerization, adsorption separation, xylene separation units, and disproportionation units. I’m not sure which aspect you would like to consult about. Apart from adsorption separation and partial reforming, everything else can be done domestically. The process packages and patents are held by the Shihezi Institute and the Shanghai Institute, and they are quite mature. In terms of engineering design, SEI and LPEC have more experience.
