During the equipment acceptance process upon its arrival at the site, the owner must be involved. But what role does the owner play throughout this process? What are the specific responsibilities of the general contractor, the supervisor, the subcontractors, and the owner? Is their role merely to count the quantities? Currently, with many manufacturers, the equipment manufacturing process and the corresponding quality certification documents are not synchronized. Therefore, it is recommended that, if possible, supervision should be carried out on-site from the beginning of equipment manufacturing; otherwise, re-inspection of the key control parameters must be conducted after the equipment arrives at the factory! :(
1. A supply list must be provided, issued by the supplier. 2. First, carefully check the quantity; each item must be counted individually. 3. Inspect and verify the quality of the products, keep records, and raise any questions. 4. An acceptance form must be prepared, and both parties must sign it to confirm. 5. It is best to conduct the inspection in accordance with the technical annex of the contract; if the inspector does not have the contract, the inspection results should be submitted to the supervisor immediately after the inspection is completed.
