Which organization does the poster work for, and which unit of MTO is they researching?
I am currently working at a research institute, where I am engaged in research on olefin separation! !
There are too many institutions in China currently engaged in MTO research! However, all efforts are focused on the development of catalysts; aside from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Sinopec seems to have several teams working on this! And there are also various universities, it’s really lively, hehe! On the contrary, there are very few studies focused on engineering, such as reactors and process optimization, and so on! These are the keys to industrialization; these are our weak points! Even though some units claim to have process packages now! But further in-depth research is still needed for the key processes!

Due to the significant differences in the composition of MTO gas compared to that of conventional naphtha, with a higher oxygen content, traditional separation processes cannot be used as a complete reference.
