What is a good sulfur-resistant shift catalyst? QCS,QDB,K8-11?
The conversion catalysts in Qilu are basically all fine
I don’t know which company you are referring to; I am most familiar with the manufacturers of sulfur-resistant shift catalysts. The QCS series of sulfur-resistant shift catalysts were developed by the Qilu Petrochemical Research Institute; Professor Zhang was in charge of model 01, Professor Zong was responsible for model 04, and Professor Zhou was in charge of model 02 – that’s roughly how the responsibilities were divided. Now Professor Zhang has been transferred to Shandong University of Science and Technology, Professor Zong has retired and is serving as an adjunct professor at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, while Professor Zhou has been transferred to China University of Petroleum. So now, the Qilu Petrochemical Research Institute has only a few employees left, led by Professor Cheng; there is basically no market anymore. QDB is a series of sulfur-resistant shift catalysts developed by Professor Zong at Qingdao University of Science and Technology; it currently holds an 80% market share. In recent years, companies such as Texaco, Shell, and those involved in the production of gas using space furnace technology have all ordered these catalysts from them. K811 was originally imported from abroad; now it is entirely produced in Qingdao. After Manager Gao, who was responsible for its production at the Qilu Petrochemical Research Institute, retired, it was developed in collaboration with foreign companies based in Shanghai.
