16Mn steel pipes are generally suitable for high-pressure or medium-temperature environments, but they do not have strong resistance to acidic corrosion
Its corrosion resistance is similar to that of ordinary carbon steel
1. 16Mn, also known as Q345, is a low-alloy steel; it is a type of carbon steel as commonly referred to. 2. It has virtually no corrosion resistance; as is expected of carbon steel, it will rust when placed in outdoor or humid environments. It needs to be painted. 3. The steam system, steam condensate, and circulating chilled water are all functioning properly. Do not consider it as a process fluid. 4. Do not allow any chemical fluids, especially acidic ones or those containing chloride ions, to come into contact with such pipes. It basically broke through after a short time.
16Mn, which is also known as Q345, belongs to low-alloy pipes and does not possess corrosion resistance.
