I am also very interested in knowing how brine can be utilized in the caustic soda production process. I hope those with relevant experience can offer some guidance!
Remove free chlorine from the lightly salted water – remove sulfate ions – mix it with brine in the water distribution tank and the filtrate from the filter press – add industrial salt to the salt storage tank to create a saturated solution; the rest is self-explanatory: lol :lol
Brine + re-saturator = salt dissolution. The brine coming from the interface zone enters the brine tank; after being heated by steam, it is sent to the re-saturator. The brine that emerges from the re-saturator goes to the primary brine processing stage, following the same process as that used for salt dissolution. With the increasing price of raw salt, using brine can **save costs**.
First, ammonia removal treatment is required; if the salt content in the brine is insufficient, more salt must be added to ensure an adequate level of salinity. The subsequent production process is then similar to that used for producing chlor-alkali from solid salt
