How to conduct a manual breaking experiment

Today I conducted a manual trip test. With the machine not started and no steam supplied, only the auxiliary turbine oil pump was turned on. Once the oil pressure reached the normal level, I performed a manual trip; the emergency shutdown device activated and the main steam valve also closed, but the control valve showed no reaction at all! It’s very frustrating – I don’t know what’s going on
Please have the original poster carefully inspect the oil circuit of the control system to check for any leaks. If the main valve moves, it indicates that there is no problem with that oil line; if the control valve does not move, then there must be a leak somewhere, as the pressure is not sufficient to allow the high-pressure oil to reach the actuator, and therefore the control valve will not move either.
