Does anyone have any information on the design of methanol distillation processes, process packages, PFDs, etc.? I am working on a 200,000-ton methanol production facility, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The project involves the production of 200,000 tons of methanol, and I would like to draw on design details related to the distillation section; the distillation setup consists of a pre-tower, a pressurized tower, an atmospheric tower, and a recovery tower. For further context, the process for producing methanol involves Texaco gasification, low-temperature methanol washing, and isobaric mono-alcohol synthesis at 5 MPa.
