Does anyone know when the exams for registered petroleum and natural gas engineers will start again? Will it stop in the future because there are too few people working in storage and transportation?
Circular No. 66 on City Establishment -- Announcement of the List of Persons Who Have Passed the Qualification Assessment for Registered Engineers in Six Specialties Including Petroleum and Natural Gas. In accordance with the \"Regulations on the Management of Registered Engineers in Survey and Design\" (Order No. 137 of the Ministry of Construction) and the Measures for the Qualification Assessment of Registered Engineers in Six Specialties Including Petroleum and Natural Gas (Documents Nos. 56, 58, 84, 85, 86, 87 issued by the Ministry of Human Resources), the National Committee for the Management of Registered Engineers in Survey and Design, along with the management committees for the six specialties including petroleum and natural gas, carried out the assessment process for determining the qualifications of registered engineers in these specialties. Upon review, 435 persons including Peng Daxin meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered petroleum and natural gas engineering engineers in the field of survey and design; 4,026 persons including Qin Xuelin meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered civil engineers (for water resources and hydropower projects); 1,035 persons including Gu Jilin meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered environmental protection engineers; 1,499 persons including Cui Yaqi meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered metallurgical engineering engineers in the field of survey and design; 1,454 persons including Chen Dengwen meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered mining/mineral engineering engineers in the field of survey and design; 3,451 persons including Li Shuhua meet the requirements for assessment and certification as registered mechanical engineering engineers in the field of survey and design. It is now displayed on the Ministry of Construction’s website (http://www.cin.gov.cn) and the China Engineering Construction Information Network (http://www.cein.gov.cn), with the display period running from October 24, 2007, to November 5, 2007. Any organization or individual who has objections to the registered engineering survey and design professionals listed on the public notice can file a complaint during the public display period. The reports or feedback submitted should be based on facts. The expert committees for petroleum and natural gas, metallurgy, mining/minerals, and machinery respectively reviewed the applications submitted by candidates in their respective fields, organized competency tests specific to those fields, and published a list of those who were expected to pass the assessments in their respective areas. Upon review, the individuals who meet the corresponding professional assessment requirements are as follows: 438 persons including Peng Daxin have obtained the qualification of registered petroleum and natural gas engineering consultants for survey and design; 1,502 persons including Cui Yaqi have obtained the corresponding professional qualification of registered metallurgical engineering consultants for survey and design; 1,461 persons including Chen Dengwen have obtained the corresponding professional qualification of registered mining/mineral engineering consultants for survey and design; 3,458 persons including Li Shuhua have obtained the qualification of registered mechanical engineering consultants for survey and design.
