1. Before mechanical maintenance, it is necessary to examine and analyze the technical condition of the equipment in operation, determine the maintenance tasks, formulate a maintenance plan, and prepare the tools, measuring instruments, and materials required. 2. Review the equipment’s drawings and technical documents to understand its purpose, performance, and structure, and prepare various maintenance record charts. 3. Set up the maintenance site, erect scaffolding, and take appropriate safety precautions. 4. The general mechanical maintenance process involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair or replacement of damaged parts, and finally assembly and debugging. 5. Before disassembling the equipment, any coal or debris accumulated on its exterior must be removed. Check the casing for any cracks or damage, and use a special tool to drain all the lubricating oil or fuel from inside the machine. Marking should be applied to the key mating surfaces first. 6. Follow the reverse order of assembly: first remove the external attachments, and then remove the assemblies, components, and parts one by one. The removal process should be carried out in a planned and systematic manner, without random disassembly. 7. During the disassembly process, it is necessary to carefully check and measure the assembly clearances of various parts, and keep accurate records of them. 8. The main purpose of mechanical disassembly is to check for defects in various components and to replace those that are worn out. Therefore, the removed parts must be cleaned with kerosene, inspected and measured for their nominal dimensions and fit tolerances, and any burrs, rust, spots, or damages must be removed. The parts that are still usable are coated with lubricant and placed neatly in groups, numbered in order; they must not be arranged haphazardly to avoid confusion. Parts that cannot be used should be replaced with new ones, or remanufactured based on detailed measurements of the original parts. 9. Proper mechanical assembly is a crucial factor in ensuring the quality of maintenance work; this aspect must be properly addressed. Before assembly, it is necessary to check each part to ensure it meets the requirements. Verify the assembly marks, and proceed with the assembly in a step-by-step and orderly manner: first assemble the parts into components and sub-assemblies, and then carry out the overall installation. After installing each part, measure and check whether the assembly clearances and center positions are correct, making adjustments as needed. Only after that can the back wheel be aligned and reinstalled. 10. After the assembly work is completed, the work area must be cleaned and inspected; lubricant should be poured into all lubrication points, and it is necessary to check whether all connections are secure. The rotation of each drive shaft should also be checked to ensure smooth operation with no signs of jamming or obstruction. Finally, a trial run should be conducted to assess the quality of the repairs. 11. When lifting components during disassembly and assembly, the rope loops must not be tied directly to the machined surface or to areas that are prone to deformation or breaking. 12. After equipment maintenance, the outer surfaces of the components should be cleaned or painted to make them neat and attractive, and a grade assessment should be conducted.
