Recently, my boss asked me to purchase a foreign simulation software. The price has been agreed upon, and they want me to place the order. After looking at the samples available online, I noticed many detailed issues, such as the version, after-sales support, intellectual property rights, and many other things. I’ve never done something like this before, and I’m worried that I might run into problems due to the terms and conditions. If you decide to buy it, software companies usually provide a contract, which is standard and generally poses no problems. Bring the contract and read it, then negotiate with the software company based on your requirements – that’s all there is to it.
The general terms are fine. It should be noted that the personnel who will use it need to go abroad for training, with the foreign party covering the costs. You can still go abroad and take a trip
The key is to make sure to confirm how many years the software’s license is valid, in order to avoid issues with software upgrades in the future
