May I ask whether the cable for a thermistor thermometer is three-core or four-core? Are there any requirements regarding the thickness of the cable, and how is it specified? Thank you!
There are generally two types of cables for thermistor temperature sensors: 1. Two-wire system: The resistance of the wires in this system must meet certain requirements; when copper resistors are used, the wire resistance should not exceed 0.2% of R0, while with platinum resistors it should not exceed 0.1% of R0. 2. Three-wire system: To eliminate or reduce the impact of wire resistance on measurement accuracy, a three-wire connection is typically used. Avoid measurement errors caused by environmental influences on the resistance of the connection wires. To better reduce interference from electrical and magnetic fields in the environment, it is advisable to use a three-core shielded cable, with the metal mesh shielding layer of the cable grounded.
