The two-turn two-suction process has no inherent connection with the production of acid from flue gases in gold smelting; as long as the concentration of the flue gases is around 7%, using this process is both economical and environmentally friendly. A gas concentration of 7% seems a bit low in our company’s system; the production volume is not high and the thermal balance is poor. It has now been increased to around 8.2%, resulting in improvements in various indicators.
