The top of the sulfur tank in sulfur recovery units is generally poured with concrete; are there any other alternatives used, such as metal covers? I would like to ask those who are experienced in design.

No other materials are needed; all 5 sulfur recovery units I’ve seen use concrete, with no other materials
Concrete covers are used as the roofs for liquid sulfur tanks, and corrosion is quite severe, especially due to steam leakage from within the tanks and the frequent start-stop operation of the equipment, which leads to significant corrosion of the concrete.
Acid-resistant bricks can be used, or stainless steel plates can be installed as a lining.
Try using epoxy resin or fiberglass lining to see how it works.
