The HPF method for desulfurization is a wet oxidation desulfurization process that uses ammonia present in coke oven gas as an absorbent and HPF as a catalyst. It first converts acidic components such as hydrogen sulfide in the gas into acidic ammonium salts like ammonium hydrosulfate, which are then converted into elemental sulfur under the oxidation action of oxygen in the air. The catalyst mentioned on the first floor refers to the HPF (quinone-cobalt-iron) composite catalyst.
