Transformer coil

Sorry, I have only heard that transformer coils are divided into single coils, double two-coils, and three-coils according to their structures. I have not heard that there are four-split and eight-split coils!

Yesterday, I communicated with a transformer manufacturer and understood its meaning. For large transformers, especially rectifier transformers, due to the large current, one-phase coils are divided into several groups and wound on the same iron core, and then output in parallel to achieve the purpose of shunting. If it is divided into four groups, it is called four divisions, and if it is divided into eight groups, it is called eight divisions.
