I don’t know what you mean by risk factors I understand it as some exception handling during the operation process. Let’s give a few examples: 1. The pH value of the mixture in the SBR reactor is too low. To ensure the smooth progress of denitrification, it is necessary to maintain an alkaline pH level in the SBR reactor. If the alkalinity of the raw water is insufficient, NaHCO3 or NaOH must be added to the tank to ensure sufficient alkalinity in the mixture. 2. Sludge concentration in the SBR reactor: Maintaining a certain sludge concentration in the aeration tank enables effective oxidation and decomposition of organic matter in the wastewater within the designed treatment capacity, while also ensuring that the aeration equipment can support the growth of microorganisms. Control range: 3000–4500 mg/l. 3. Sludge level in the sludge tank: Sludge is discharged at regular intervals so that the retention time of the settled sludge is exactly equal to the time required for it to reach its maximum concentration through sedimentation, thereby ensuring efficient sludge removal with short processing times. At the same time, the sludge discharge cycle is adjusted in a timely manner according to changes in the sludge level, to ensure that the quality of the effluent meets the standards.
