The fire protection codes for oil depots specify that the water level in the pool should be able to be monitored within the fire pump room. How is this generally designed? Upper level gauge?
Fire water tanks are equipped with automatic refill valves, which generally help to maintain the water level in the tank at the required height
We generally use float level switches to address this issue, setting an alarm for high liquid level and another for low liquid level. This basically meets the requirements of fire safety regulations as well as practical usage needs. For reference only!
