The amount of oil recycled is used to control the reverse reheating balance; it can’t be increased just as one wishes. I see brothers posting requests for help everywhere; to be honest, such posts hold little value in terms of technical expertise or practical guidance. If one wants to make money this way, it’s not the right approach, and asking for help generally doesn’t help improve one’s situation ; If you really want to learn*, you can check the forum; there are already quite a few books available on catalytic cracking.
I recommend a book to the original poster titled “Questions and Answers on Catalytic Cracking Technology” – it contains excellent information presented at an appropriate level of depth.
Increasing the amount of oil reprocessed will certainly boost the yield in the short term, but it will subsequently affect the catalyst’s activity, which could ultimately lead to a decrease in yield; therefore, it is necessary to follow the design specifications strictly
It will be effective in the short term, but when the amount of re-refining increases significantly, the heat of reaction **increases, and the load on raw material preheating as well as on reactors and distillation columns also increases accordingly. As the heat required for the reaction increases, it actually leads to a decrease in the regeneration temperature; meanwhile, the carbon content of the regenerated catalyst rises, resulting in a reduction in the single-pass conversion depth. This forces a reduction in the processing volume or in the amount of diesel produced, so the increase in reprocessed oil is limited.
Current catalysis should take into account the one-way conversion issue; if the raw material is of good quality, it can be reprocessed. Currently, the outlet temperature is generally kept quite high; there are not many factories that can process the raw materials properly. In my opinion, it’s better not to reprocess them.
