Hello! A fuse is designed to limit the amount of current that can pass through it; each type of fuse has its own rated current. When the current flowing through it exceeds this rated value, the fuse blows. In the chemical industry, I have only encountered fast-blow fuses – I have not come across the term \"current-limiting fuse\" yet. Only the filler within it has no weight limit. Only the requirement for arc extinguishing capability.
