I majored in *biochemical engineering, with a secondary focus on fine chemical engineering. Biochemical engineering encompasses a wide range of fields such as bioengineering, biomedical engineering, genetic engineering, biopharmaceuticals, fermentation engineering, protein engineering, sugar engineering, enzyme engineering, and food engineering; these were originally part of the field of fine chemical engineering. Many professionals in biochemical engineering, frustrated by the current downturn in this sector, have turned to chemical engineering forums, but our forum is popular in the chemical industry yet lacks content related to fine chemical engineering. Therefore, I hope that a section dedicated to biochemical engineering can be established, or that a separate section for fine chemical engineering can be created, including topics related to food, pharmaceuticals, and biodiesel. Additionally, other areas such as coatings could also be included, with further sub-sections created for fine chemical engineering. As for clean technology, perhaps it’s possible to collaborate with Wanke, as they are strong in this area, but we are definitely the leaders when it comes to engineering.
