Do liquid ammonia tank trucks have cooling measures? Generally, after transportation and when the tank truck unloads the material, what is the difference between the temperature of ammonia and the ambient temperature?

Liquid ammonia tank trucks do not have any cooling system for their storage tanks. During unloading, the ambient temperature has an impact on the speed of unloading, as the unloading process relies on the pressure difference between the tank of the truck and the tank used to store liquid ammonia. If the external temperature is high while the temperature in the tank area is low, a pressure difference will arise. However, nowadays, loading and unloading are generally carried out using compressors, so there is no need to consider external temperatures
The design pressure of the tank truck, the filling coefficient, and the ban on transportation at midday in summer determine that cooling is not required. Refer to the relevant provisions in the \"Regulations on the Safety Management of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Tank Trucks.\"
It is not necessary; when unloading, the pressure in the tank truck is increased to above PN0.6 to reduce losses of liquid ammonia, with little change in temperature.
