PID stands for Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagram. As the name suggests, it is a result of the integration of the three fields of process engineering, piping, and instrumentation. It represents a detailed version of the Process Flow Diagram (PFD), designed to meet the requirements for construction drawings. It mainly includes: equipment, pipelines and their accessories, pipeline materials, instruments, control circuits, and main parameters of the equipment
