Does anyone know what the service stress for 0Cr25Ni20 (or 310S) is at around 1000 degrees? Where can I find this information? Additionally, the manual states that the maximum design temperature for this material is 800 degrees; is there any basis for a design temperature of over 1000 degrees?
The solubility temperature is already approaching; what use is there anymore? The maximum temperature specified in the ASTM standard is 1500°F (about 815°C)
Since it cannot be found in the manual, it is a material not recommended for use in such applications. The allowable stress of 0Cr25Ni20 at 800°C is only 6 MPa; at higher temperatures its strength becomes extremely low, even less than that of a straw rope at room temperature, making its use uneconomical. In such cases, if you use bars, it is recommended to select materials in accordance with the standard \"Hot-rolled and forged bars of superalloys for general load-bearing purposes\" (YB/T5245-1993). GH1131 has a tensile strength of 110 MPa at 1000°C, which is sufficient for this purpose. Personal opinion, for reference only! :)

However, 0Cr25Ni20 is listed in the ASME material section, while 0Cr25Ni35 and 0Cr35Ni45 are not.
