The best approach is to control the moisture content of the raw materials used in the device; by then, electrodesalination will prevent accidents caused by water in the crude oil entering the tower.
I think, on the one hand, it is necessary to integrate electrodialysis with the tank area to enhance dehydration – this is the fundamental solution. On the other hand, since water is already present, efforts should be made to minimize its impact on product quality and the operation of the entire tower; raising the top temperature helps prevent water from appearing in other outlet streams, and increasing the flow rate of fluid at the top can boost the partial pressure of oil and gas, thereby helping to control product quality
