What are the differences between nozzle washers and venturi washers in Texaco gasification?
May I ask the original poster, what device is a nozzle washer? And which part of it?
It refers to the same thing; some processes call it Nozzle Scrubber, while Texaco calls it Venturi Scrubber – it’s actually the same thing.
In my opinion, the functions of the two are the same: both ensure that the ash in the gas mixes thoroughly with water, thereby making it easier to separate the ash. The only difference lies in their names and in slight variations in their internal structure
Does a nozzle washer refer to the washer located in the gas outlet pipeline, near the gasifier?

It’s the same device; the principle is the same
It’s just that there are many people involved and showing interest now, especially leaders; since they don’t know what a Venturi is, it’s been explained in simpler terms. It’s the same thing. One is the scientific name and the other is the common name.
