Sometimes the flange type of the valve is difficult to determine (if you have good experience, please give me some advice, how to better determine the flange type? ) Why don’t valve manufacturers provide their own flanges, bolts, nuts, and gaskets?
This needs discussion, who would give these attachments without making any money?
Flanges, bolts, nuts, and gaskets should all be common parts. Every factory usually has them. If the manufacturer has to bring them himself, it would be too troublesome to replace them.

They are likely to use non-standard valves, so the owner will be passive when purchasing a certain valve if it needs to be replaced.
The selected flange type is concave and convex surface, tongue and groove surface, raised surface, etc. It should match the valve itself.
The selected flange material should be the same as the pipe material. Should the valve body material be considered when selecting the flange material?
In order to ensure the reliability of project execution, design institutes generally have pipeline grade regulations when determining the valve connection form. When purchasing, orders should be made according to the pipeline grade regulations.
The easiest way is to have the valve manufacturer supply flanges and other accessories when placing an order.

If non-standard flanges are involved, the manufacturer will generally be required to provide matching supplies, such as insulation type valves. The bolt holes are generally one size larger, which is basically supplied by the manufacturer. Then there are flanges that are not commonly used, usually matching flanges on the equipment, and the equipment manufacturer will be required to supply them, such as the Huff flange matched with the enamel kettle, some flanges on the pump, etc. The specifications are complex and the quantity is small, so it is troublesome to purchase them separately. Generally, the manufacturer is required to supply with the equipment, and if necessary, spare parts will also be required.
Standard valves should be used as much as possible in chemical engineering design. The flange type, sealing surface type and gasket material and type of the valve are determined by the design pressure of the pipeline where it is located and the properties of the medium in the pipeline, and need to be specified in the corresponding pipeline grade description document. For some special valves, non-standard connecting flanges must be used. In this case, there are two solutions. One is to require the valve supplier to provide matching flanges, gaskets, connectors, and certain spare parts. This method will undoubtedly cost you more money. Another method is for the construction unit (must be relatively powerful) to process the matching flanges and gaskets by itself according to the site conditions. This method is more trouble-free for the owner (or EPC party), but it is generally not recommended for important pipelines.
