I’ve added a pipeline pump to the existing pipe; the water flow rate in the pipe is currently 15 m3/h. What flow rate should I choose for the pump?
Is the current flow rate 15 m3/h? Is this the maximum flow rate or the normal flow rate? The flow rate of the pipeline pump should be slightly less than this value, right?
When selecting a pump, it is necessary to consider its operating points, such as the required head and flow rate; information on normal flow rate, maximum flow rate, and minimum flow rate is available. If the flow rate is set at 15 m3/h, it is advisable to choose a pump with a slightly higher capacity (for example, 10% more)
