Has anyone experienced this software before? www.welchem.com TrayHeart is a professional software for the design and analysis of column internals. It was originally developed in collaboration with chemical companies and their suppliers. The program runs on Windows PCs running Win95 or later versions. It is available in both single-user and company-network license formats. Key features at a glance: All common types of trays, such as dual-flow, sieve, bubble cap, floating and fixed valve trays; random and structured packings; liquid distributors; 1, 2, and 4-pass trays; sloped DC trays, notched weirs, and various other geometric options. Constructive details are taken into account, as well as loss areas due to clamping or other factors. Column profile calculation is possible via import from Aspen, ChemCad, or Clipboard. Columns with varying diameters, different internals, and various designs can be handled. Multiple calculation methods are available, including the FRI method specifically for FRI elements (other proprietary methods can also be integrated for specialized users). Detailed results can be exported in graphic, text, column sketch format, or as PDF files
Thank you, the original poster, for introducing this new software; this way our forum will thrive with a variety of options
