Because British pipes are difficult to buy in China, I plan to use metric pipes of Φ325X15 to replace the British pipes of Φ323.9X14.2. The pipe fittings are made according to Φ323.9X14.2. It can be replaced, but the welding groove of the replacement pipe must be processed according to the British standard during welding to ensure that it is welded to the pipe fittings. For standards and specifications, see ASME B16.25. It should be available on the forum, search it. In addition, there are many domestically produced pipes of the British standard, and you can't buy them without going back.

The large outer diameter series of pipes and the small outer diameter series of pipes are both used in China, so it’s not impossible to buy them.
The outer diameters are not much different, so welding should be possible, but it's just more troublesome.
These two outer diameters are almost ok, and the wall thickness is enough. It can be achieved by beveling, but not all. If the outer diameters are too different, it will not work.
