Recently, two large-height, extended heavy-duty working faces were established at the Shangwan Coal Mine and the Bulianta Coal Mine, both part of the Shendong Coal Branch under Shenhua Group. Each set of equipment for the two constructed heavy-duty working faces weighs 10,000 tons, with a total installed power of 11,000 kilowatts ； The annual production capacity ranges from 12.5 million tons to 13.5 million tons, with an average monthly output of over 1 million tons; the highest monthly output has reached 1.095 million tons ； Each heavy-duty working face can generate over 100 million yuan in additional economic benefits per year, and increase the resource recovery rate by 11.2%. Heavy-duty fully mechanized mining faces represent the latest trends in coal mining production technology both domestically and internationally. They are the result of a combination of factors such as the adequacy of the mine’s system capabilities, the rational selection of mining face processes, the proper coordination of various operations, ensuring production safety, and scientific management.
