What is the difference between a compressor anti-surge valve equipped with a solenoid valve and one without a solenoid valve in operation? Please analyze it in detail. Thank you!

Some anti-surge valves have several control methods; for example, some of them offer linear control, proportional control, and forced-open control modes. When the flow rate is far from the minimum surge flow rate, linear control can be employed ； Proportional control is used when the flow rate approaches the minimum surge flow rate. The full-open mode is adopted when the surge flow rate is reached. Those equipped with solenoid valves may have a forced-open mode, while those without solenoid valves lack this function; this is just my personal opinion for reference only.
