Can the magnitude of the pulse hydraulic pressure be changed arbitrarily? I’m confused So what are the scientific bases for determining the magnitude of pulsed oil pressure, and what factors need to be taken into consideration?
Pulse oil pressure is determined based on the manufacturer’s spring tests, and can be slightly adjusted according to the operating conditions of the unit. It can’t be major. If major adjustments are made, the other oil pressures in the entire unit will also change accordingly. That would mess everything up. The level of pulse oil pressure cannot be changed arbitrarily. This is because the pulse oil pressure is determined through experiments by the manufacturer, and it is in a linear relationship with the weight of various solenoid valves in the control system as well as the stiffness of the springs. Minor adjustments can be made, however. For example, if the pulse oil pressure is too low, it will not be sufficient to operate the 3 P5 L2 W8 M unit under partial load. On the other hand, if the pulse oil pressure is too high, it can cause the safety device to activate and lead to shutdown of the machine. Changes in pulse oil pressure affect the characteristic curve of the unit.
