The 14th National Catalysis Conference, organized by Nanjing University, will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, in the late summer of 2008. The theme of the conference is “Catalysis Science and Technology in Independent Scientific and Technological Innovation,” covering the fundamentals and applications related to high-tech fields such as energy, materials, and environmental protection. The conference agenda includes: invited keynote speeches by the conference organizers, invited presentations by session organizers, thematic presentations and discussions, as well as paper poster presentations; in addition, specialized academic forums will be held. Exhibitions will also be organized during the conference. This conference will be the biennial gathering of catalysis professionals across the country, with around 1,200 delegates expected to attend. Several academicians from various institutions as well as some internationally renowned scholars will also be present to deliver special lectures at the conference. Therefore, this event will provide a platform for catalyst professionals, as well as engineers and manufacturers involved in the design and production of catalyst characterization instruments, to interact and showcase their work. All science and technology professionals are welcome to participate actively and submit their contributions.
