If the transformation is carried out under normal production conditions, it is recommended to insulate the sulfuric acid storage tank. Maintaining the sulfuric acid temperature will solve the problem. :lol

Generally, the chlorine drying process has a composite tower of bubble cap + packing, so the downcomer at the connection must be insulated, especially in the northern region, because the freezing point of 98% sulfuric acid is about 2-3 degrees (I can’t remember clearly). The overflow of a section of the tower must also be insulated. The freezing point of 80% dilute sulfuric acid is still relatively high. Of course, if the sulfuric acid concentration is controlled lower during winter production, the risk will be less, but enough attention must be paid, because once the sulfuric acid crystallization problem occurs, it will affect production at best, or cause chlorine pressure fluctuations and cause shutdown.
