I would like to learn more about pipe connection methods, such as metal pipes connected to metal pipes, plastic pipes connected to plastic pipes, ceramic pipes connected to ceramic pipes, metal pipes connected to plastic pipes, metal pipes connected to ceramic pipes, and plastic pipes connected to ceramic pipes. 1 Pipe threaded connection (galvanized steel pipes, plastic-lined galvanized steel pipes) 2 Pipe flanged connection (requires disassembly, used for connection to equipment valves, etc.) 3 Pipe welding 4 Cement slip joint: generally used for the socket-and-spigot connection of indoor and outdoor cast-iron drainage pipes 5 Asbestos-cement joint: asbestos-cement slip joints are typically used for the installation of indoor and outdoor cast-iron water supply pipes, which are created by mixing an appropriate amount of asbestos fibers into cement. 6 Lead joints: Generally used for laying cast iron water supply pipes inside industrial buildings. Lead joints can be employed when there are special design requirements, or for emergency repairs of outdoor cast iron water supply pipes, as well as in situations where it is necessary to start water flow promptly at pipe connections. 7 Rubber ring joints: Generally used for the connections between pipes during the installation of outdoor cast iron water supply pipes. Pipes and pipe fittings still require asbestos-cement threaded joints. For example, common connection methods for polyethylene pipes include: butt welding, electric welding with pipe collars, socket spigot connections with seals, threaded connections, linear expansion socket spigot connections, and flange connections. These connection methods each have their own performance characteristics, as well as different applications and installation methods.
